Statue of Liberty Nike Dunk SB by Dank Customs
This base shoe showcased the real creativity that comes from the Nike SB department’s official releases. An all green shoe that when skated shows a brown copper upper, based on the Statue of Liberty’s thin copper coating that has oxidized over the years to have a green finish. Taking full advantage of this concept was Dank Customs who added American flag and Statue of Liberty silhouettes to these Dunks by carefully removing the green finish to reveal the brown leather underneath.
