The Most Memorable Custom Sneakers of 2013 Part 2

Air Jordan IV Samurai by El Cappy

Whether it is a one of one custom or an official Nike release it sometimes seems lately like the trend is to fit as much onto one shoe as possible. That’s what makes these stand out in 2013. With a concept that could have been well overdone with tons of graphics the end result is quite perfect. The base white/cement gray AJ IV is still obvious yet the additions gave a whole new life in this Japanese Samurai inspired custom by El Cappy. Not a piece of leather was painted instead El Cappy opted to add the Japanese inspired details to the plastic wings and midsoles. Topped off with custom molded samurai silhouette replacing the Jumpman on the heel tabs and you have a custom that represents less is more to the fullest.
