Falsequest: Life and Debt quilted leather Nike Blazer Hi Custom

Happy customers equals happy business. Sneaker customizer Falsequest is relatively new to the posting custom shoe work online scene but obviously not new to actually making customs. He has a mystique about him. We are pretty sure the person behind Falsequest is a male but his general location is unknown. This mystique is somewhat of a throwback to early 2000’s in the online custom shoe world where customizers really did not share details such as where they are from or personal photos. It was hard to put a face or personality behind one’s custom work, but of course that changed with the emergence of the whole social media explosion in MySpace, Facebook, YouTube and personal blogs. Falsequest has let his work do all the talking so far. Now even one of Falsequest’s customers was so happy he gave an extremely detailed explanation of the entire project. You can read it yourself HERE, but its clear Falsequest is doing at least few things correct.

The design of the custom Nike Blazer Hi is similar to one of Falsequest’s previous designs of a custom Nike Blazer low. Made with the same “decon-recon” process as all of Falsquests customs we have seen so far. This time using light gray leather with the custom quilted stitching for the majority of the upper. The customer has an affection for the “Life and Debt” track by Seattle, Washington based MC duo Blue Scholars so the back heel tabs say “Life” and “Debt” in a detailed cutout lettering over black snakeskin that accents the maroon outline black snakeskin Swooshes. Oh, do I really even have to mention the laser engraved tongue tags and custom tagged black knapsack? Falsequest is slowly becoming a “mantra” for high quality custom shoes.

Chrisco-CC: Mavel Mashup The Incredible Hulk Nike Dunk Custom

Iowa based shoe customizer Chrisco-CC recently finished Volume 2 of his Marvel Mashup custom shoe series: The Incredible Hulk Nike Dunk low. Chrisco-CC used the “decon-recon” process to take an all white Nike Dunk upper and replace the all white sole a grey earthquake crackle midsole from another pair of Nike Dunks. The Incredible Hulks signature ripped pants, skin and hair are represented by the purple denim panels, bright green midpanels, and the dark green Swooshes. Topped off with an embroidered Marvel Comics tongue tag and HULK on the back heels. These are what the original denim Nike Dunks nicknamed the “Hulk” should have looked like.

Custom Converse All Star Sneaker Trousers by Sebastian Errazuriz

Somedays I just wish I could get dressed faster and just have my shoes and jeans be one piece, I honestly think I’d be on time more. Seabastian Errazuriz an artist, creative designer, or whatever you call people that make things these days may have solved that problem. Errazuriz made these “Sneaker Trousers” taking a pair of Coverse Chuck Taylor All Stars and combining them with fresh pair of denim blue jeans. Gimme these in overall form, white t shirt, and pair of Fruit of the Looms and I’m good.

EmmanueLabor: Brotherhood of Traveling Shoes Custom Nike Air Force 1

Seattle, Washington based shoe customizer EmmanueLabor is making sure you do not get lost trying to keep up with his custom skills in his latest custom Nike Air Force 1 titled “Brotherhood of Traveling Shoes”. They were created as a gift for a woman’s husband who is a mapper, better known as cartographer. Her husband was stationed overseas during the summer of 2009 and had the chance to visit quite a few countries: France, Barcelona, Kosovo, Germany, Amsterdam, and many more.

Using the “decon-recon process” EmmanueLabor’s choice of navy blue, red, and muted gold are a great American colorway that represent an American traveler very well. If you look close enough he actually recreated the path the woman’s husband took with red stitching pinpointing each country all across the maps on different panels of the shoe. The muted gold is actually a ripstop material that has horizontal and verticle lines that go great with the latitude and longitude measuring of a map. EmmanueLabor seriously shut it down with this pair. Forget other customizers being able to catch up, the world’s giant shoe companies really can not see him either right now.
