The first pair of galaxy theme inspired Nike Foamposite Pro customs by SmoothTip were pretty much unsurpassed by any other painted attempts at the look. To finish off his year he stepped up the look with added colors and a more detailed recreation of the heavens. If that wasn’t enough a brighter glow was achieved on the soles.

Nike Lebron X Phantom Customized by Mache Customs
With original intent of the design being inspired by geometrical backgrounds of early 1990s Skybox NBA basketball cards Mache Customs was told these actually look reminiscent of a certain Nike Air Max 90. That AM90 was the Hurley x Nike Air Max 90 “Phantom 4D” limited to 500 pairs and designed by artist Dalek in 2011. Upon close inspection the look between both shoes is similar. Using the Nike Lebron X Dunkman as his base shoe this pair by Mache shifts colors depending on the angle light hits them from green to turquoise to purple with the lines alternating hues too. These are a 1 of 1 and due to their intensive nature it took to make them Mache might not be making them available for a limited run…unless the public demands it!
Air Jordan 4 Command Force Customs by @emmanueLabor
The years were 1989 and 1991, Michael Jordan and David Robinson, the Air Jordan IV debuted first and the Nike Air Command Force a couple years later. MJ continued to sell shoes obviously while Mr. Robinson never gained that status that could sell his own signature shoe. Surely Robinson influenced some sales. But Woody Harrelson playing as Billy Hoyle rocking the Command Force in White Men Can’t Jump is considered more significant than anything that happened in them around Mr. Robinson’s Neighborhood. Yet for emmanueLabor this custom combining the both pairs was a way to bring him back to his childhood.
