THE king basketball magazine of all basketball periodicals, SLAM, was kind enough to feature my thoughts and brands (this site and my work at Evolved-Footwear.com), along with the work of customizers Jake of JBF Customs, Chris of C2 Customs, and Dan of Mache Customs in their 16th issue of KICKS. The magazine is a once a year release presented by SLAM on the latest and upcoming news and happenings in the world of sneakers, specifically basketball sneakers. Written by John Brilliant of the site CounterKicks.com the article gives insight on the history of customs, how they have become more mainstream lately and their purpose in the sneaker subculture.
