Remember that thought from the GZA Dunks, “Man this custom sneaker thing is pretty cool”? Well this pair is the epitome of that feeling, the only person higher is probably for Money himself. Mache was the given the opportunity to customize a pair of Lebrons for Lebron. Not many others can say that, and we are pretty sure Mache was the first that were to be personally worn by LBJ.
The ball got rolling after Lebron came across Mache’s Decepitcon X pair that KingJames shared on his own Instagram. Though the theme itself of Iron Man is nothing new, it was executed just as good as any other customizers attempt. Word is Nike nixed the idea of Lebron wearing them in a game so he saved them for a few months later for the first shootaround practice of the 2013 NBA Finals.
