Nike Dunk GZA Liquid Swords
This custom from 2007 was one of Mache’s first early “Man this custom sneaker thing is pretty cool” moments. Being of fan of Wu-Tang and GZA’s Liquid Swords he decided to try and recreate the artwork on some Dunks. After posting them online, in the small world of MySpace the Genius himself caught wind and requested 2 pairs. Mache had them done quick as GZA ended up wearing them on stage at the Pitchfork Music Festival in 2007 just a week later. Oh and the recreated album art work is pretty spot on too. The Dunk is still one of the best bases for a custom, these > most any Lebron custom.
