The term “collab” short for collaboration has been a staple of the streetwear cool guy scene for years. With more respect being given to sneaker customization the natural progression is for independent fashion brands to reach out to customizers for their artistic points of view. The crew at PMK Customs takes part in that progress working with effort with Puma on a pair for California streetwear brand Peas & Carrots International.
In these two preview pics we can see a laceless Puma Disc Blaze that was given a reconstructed upper keeping the original soles and disc lacing system. The green and orange camo pattern of PNCIntl was used on the majority of the upper. While a green suede was placed on the toes and orange on the liners. Does this kind of design teamwork give the Puma Disc Blaze some more credibility or are they still that kinda shoe that is cool based on its unique take on lacing that some people will like?
