Bob Barker would be proud of these Price is Right themed Nike Lebron Xs by Revive Customs. Colors seen on the show: green, orange, yellow and red were chosen via NikeID by Evan of Revive Customs whose next step in creating this custom was painting subtle touches to represent the popular daytime television game show. Starting with the back heel triangles the famous Plinko Chip featuring the $ sign logo was added with a gold glitter background. Next features of The Big Wheel were painted with the $ sign pattern in light green across the upper with the red arrow on the toe box in red glitter. Lastly SHOWCASE SHOWDOWN and the Revive logo on the back heels, green stars throughout, and glitter on the Lebron logo tongue pull tabs finish off these kicks perfect for if your name was called to come on down!
Nike Command Force “McFly” Custom by Peculiar Kinetics
After releasing last year the Nike Mags influence in the custom sneaker world has been such that it will surely continue into the future. The latest custom sneaker take to mirror the Air Mags futuristic look is this collaborative effort custom Nike Command Force by Jonathan Carrington of Peculiar Studios. With the help of Revive Customs, PK had a pair of vintage Nike Command Forces saved with a sole swap from a pair of Air Force 180 retros. Next the Mags signature light up soles were actually setup by myself under my custom sneaker brand Evolved-Footwear. With the revived kicks now light up shoes Jonathan transformed the formerly white upper and neon midsoles to a gray upper, white Swooshes and with turquoise accents on the midsole speckle and tongue logos.
Air Jordan 4 Jesus Piece for The Game by Mache Customs
In celebration of The Game’s album release yesterday titled Jesus Piece, Dan of Mache Customs created a custom Air Jordan “player exclusive” style for the Los Angeles rapper. What was known as Game’s favorite Jordan model, the IV, Mache used the recent black/red retro release transforming the entire black suede upper into a toro bravo red to start. Next details of a hand painted GAME logo and Jesus piece were placed on the outer heels. Last touches of the album artwork grace the insoles with custom lasered shoelace deubrés made by his friend at Absolelute.com.
Air Jordan 4 Command Force Customs by @emmanueLabor
The years were 1989 and 1991, Michael Jordan and David Robinson, the Air Jordan IV debuted first and the Nike Air Command Force a couple years later. MJ continued to sell shoes obviously while Mr. Robinson never gained that status that could sell his own signature shoe. Surely Robinson influenced some sales. But Woody Harrelson playing as Billy Hoyle rocking the Command Force in White Men Can’t Jump is considered more significant than anything that happened in them around Mr. Robinson’s Neighborhood. Yet for emmanueLabor this custom combining the both pairs was a way to bring him back to his childhood.
Air Jordan 4 Retro Bro of Mars Custom by @EcentrikShoeArt
The past couple months Elom of Ecentrik Artistry has made the Air Jordan 4 retro a go-to base shoe for his mirrored colorway customs. First was a new look on the South Beach colorway next was a remix of the Doernbecher 4s while this time gives a recent Son of Mars color scheme a sibling titled Bro of Mars. The former Military Blue AJ 4 was first changed with a deep shade of yellow on the wings and heel Jumpman logos. Next up to mirror the Son of Mars was to add elephant print across the toe mudguards. Lastly a covering of cool gray was painted on the formerly off white upper. The perfect custom pair if you love the original pictured below.
Nike Foamposite Rainbow Galaxy Customs by TRAGIKkicks
Nike’s release of the Galaxy Nike Foamposite earlier this year did more than rile up sneakerheads, it gave shoe customizers the green light to use the Nike Foamposite as a base for more than solid colors. While the galaxy has been mimicked by many and successfully recreated by few TRAGIKkicks decided to spin the idea in another whole direction. Less outerspace and more Earth’s atmosphere with a rainbow influenced galaxy theme. At least seven colors were blended upon the Foamposite upper with specks of white intermittent against all black accents of the tongue, liner and soles. Do you think these make Nikes galaxy print look tame?
Nike Blazer SB Marihuana Custom Sneakers by El Cappy
Can you expect anything less than a complete custom box to go with the next El Cappy custom sneaker by Eric Lowry? After his Nike Mag Lebron 9 and this here Nike Blazer probably not. The theme is obvious with this pair of El Cappy customs influenced by 4/20 and the slow state by state legalization. Titled, Marihuana this SB Blazer was given an all new painted upper with varying green graphics on both sides and tongues. The base shoe were the Independent Trucks Nike Blazer which had orange accents that went perfect with the rest of El Cappy’s concept of a shoebox modeled after a Zig Zag Cigarette Papers box. Final EL Cappy branding on the custom engraved tongue tags and lace dubrets finish off the 1 of 1 custom.
