When you work on a base sneaker iconic as the Nike Air Mag the opinions of the results are on one of the two sides: love or hate. One of the few customizers to tackle the aforementioned limited light up sneaker is Dan of Mache Customs. Even though his first customization of the Air Mag made the most sense being in reference to the Back to the Future, this cross movie styling just may be the best of all Air Mag customs we’ve seen so far.
What was once a white and gray shoe now features the suit details in a colorway of one of the characters from the first full feature-length computer-animated movie. That character is the famous Buzz Lightyear and the movie Toy Story. Additions can be seen as purple painted upon the previously white Swooshes and ankle padding. Next the straps feature Buzz’s Space Ranger logo and the red and white stripes upon the strap as seen on his wings edges. The last two, but most obvious changes include a few gray stripes on the mesh upper and Buzz’s classic lime green across the heel panels and midsoles.
