Mache x JBF Air Jordan V Atmos Tiger Camo & Python Customs

After brewing for two years Mache and JBF have released their first collaborative effort custom sneakers. Arguably the two leaders in their respective genres of customizing, Mache being painting and JBF of reconstruction, have set the bar for other customizers looking to team up. Without over complicating in the concept department the two agreed upon using the latest Atmos Air Max 1 Tiger Camo/Snake official release as their theme.

The main aspect of glossy black python skin panels is of course the effort of JBF who reconstructed the majority of the upper replacing the factory leather of the ankles, mid panels, toe boxes, and tongues. The attention to detail can be seen with the help of lasering work by Absolelute on the cutout Jumpman logo tongues with a recessed piece of 3M’s reflective Schotchlite to hark back to the OG AJ V. To bring a bit more of a lux feel to the colorway JBF used a buttery orange calfskin on the liners. After being reconstructed it was Mache’s turn to work by hand painting the jungle tiger camo on the back heels, mudguard and the shark teeth of the midsoles. Blacked out netting finishes off the look.

The two customizers will be making these available for 5 orders soon. Follow them on Twitter to find out when they are out: @Mache275 and @JBFcustoms and check their websites to order: MacheCustoms.com & JBFcustoms.com
