The IKEA adidas Yeezy Boost 350 went from Photoshop concept floating on Instagram to real painted custom by Mache Customs this month. Considering Kanye West sent an indirect Tweet about the possibility of collaboration with the furniture and meatball giant it’s kinda surprising an IKEA Yeezy didn’t surface earlier. Kanye’s tweet was sent out in March 2016. But it wasn’t until August that the Australia IKEA responded towards Ye with a response to a later non IKEA mentioned tweet about his thoughts for designing himself and wifey Kim a new bed. Then the Internet went crazy with other Kanye inspired IKEA products. So maybe it took an all white based Yeezy to make this blue and yellow branded shoe a possibility!
Mache had attempted to dye his cream white Yeezy Boost 350 with indigo dye. They may not have turned out how he hoped stating he had “destroyed” them so he chose to give them a second chance as this IKEA kick. Previously white, the entire shoe was dyed and painted blue. Next, a simple placement of yellow upon the Yeezy stripe with the bold branding in blue makes these the envy of every hypebeast IKEA employee.
