You are right what does this have to do with customizing shoes? A lot actually. Most all customizers at some point either drew shoes as a kid or imagined new designs. Eventually this lead them to customizing since there was not a direct path to footwear design as there is today. I really wish this Future Sole contest by Nike would have been around say 8 to 10 years ago. But it was not, all we can do now is show our support for those kids who had the same ambitions as us, wishing we could create our own sneaker.
