In the summer of 2012 Complex put together a list of the 50 most influential people in sneaker history. The world of sneaker customization was represented by the likes of Methamphibian and SBTG amongst the fifty, deservedly so. Since then a few customizer names have made their mark into the mainstream sneakerhead scene and built followings across the internet, got celebrity attention, and even had Customs in Game. Reprising the “most influential” list concept for right now Complex listed JBF and Mache to be two amongst some other people you might have heard of like Jordan, Tinker, and Kanye.
