A quick scroll through Instagram proves the popularity of custom sneakers has never been higher. With that comes multiple renditions of popular themes. But nobody wants to see the same thing over and over nor do you want to cross the line of copying another customizers artistic interpretation. So how do you stand out? Well those with a creative mind find a way.

No one would put it past Mache to step up to the challenge of taking on a theme that has been done by many and give a different take. Having already one of the nicer Joker themed customs in these Air Force 1s from 2009, you can now add the Air Jordan III to that category. The oh so precious silhouette of the Jordan retro line is seen in a grimey, vandalized take as if the Dark Knight’s nemisis had it out for Jordan Brand. To start what many would think needs some cleaning is actually painted to appear they’ve been through hell from the liner, tongues, midsoles, laces, to the heel tabs. Next the Joker’s shirt hexagon pattern is showcased on the upper with a dirty green accents and purple on the elephant print. Lastly the Jumpman tongue logos get a bit of black and red tagging that fits the unmistakable Joker look.

These are a 1 of 1 but you can contact Mache for your own custom sneaker nightmares at MacheCustoms.com
