Nike’s release of the Galaxy Nike Foamposite earlier this year did more than rile up sneakerheads, it gave shoe customizers the green light to use the Nike Foamposite as a base for more than solid colors. While the galaxy has been mimicked by many and successfully recreated by few TRAGIKkicks decided to spin the idea in another whole direction. Less outerspace and more Earth’s atmosphere with a rainbow influenced galaxy theme. At least seven colors were blended upon the Foamposite upper with specks of white intermittent against all black accents of the tongue, liner and soles. Do you think these make Nikes galaxy print look tame?
Inspired by one of the greatest music groups ever, The Beatles, and an amazing show in Las Vegas by CIRQUE DU SOLEIL which is inspired by The Beatles, TRAGIKkicks put together a solid custom. If someone can use this many colors and make it attractive then they have a very creative mind in design. Yes, you can say they did not create the patterns or imagery but it is still not an easy task to transport a design from a two dimensional surface to a three dimensional item like a pair of shoes.
