Is This What Yeezy’s Would Look Like if Kanye Went With Converse?

Custom sneakers everyone once in a while find themselves the result of an imagined alternate universe. Whether it’s popular models being reimagined onto another model or two competing brands combined into one pair. The results are usually concepts the world will never see make it into production. Some brand loyalists would even say they are the stuff nightmares are made of. The latest idea to never be real is a pair of Converse Chuck Taylors painted by Seantehdon .

A customer commissioned Sean to recreate the look of adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2. The high top Chucks classic feel was hand painted in the black and white stripes seen on Kanye’s hyped sneaker. The knit materials were matched pretty spot on for an eye-catching look in it’s own right. The Sply 350 text on the stripe was replaced for that of 2017 UW, in most likely a nod to Sean’s school the University of Washington. With a design like this surfacing it’s clear the Yeezy has cemented itself in the sneaker pop culture history.
