Vanilla Ice gets to celebrate his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Secret of the Ooze cameo with a new pair of custom Nike Air Force 1s. Any TMNT fan knows the scene in TMNT 2 of the Vanilla Ice concert the turtles crash as he just happens to be performing Ninja Rap. Definitely a classic scene with the merge of real pop culture within a movie storyline.
Artist and sneaker customizer PeteKoh had the opportunity to create pair of TMNT kicks for the man himself. The canvas of a classic white on white Nike AF1 began with pen drawings of Vanilla and the four Turtles: Donatello, Leonardo, Michaelangelo, and Raphael. Next hours were spent hand painting and airbrushing details to bring the sketches to life. Lastly, extra details in the background, shell pattern on the toes, and theme logos bring them together. PeteKoh definitely took full advantage of his opportunity bringing to life an awesome TMNT and Vanilla Ice tribute.
