If you are in the San Antonio, Texas area keep reading so you can find these shoes! Once again the San Antonio Sneaks Up event is holding Sole Search on April 29th 2012 for SASneaksUp 6. In the past they have created a 5 pairs of a signature custom sneaker that were hidden across the city a la the Orchard Street Dunks but with clues to where they are hidden via the Facebook and Twitter accounts. This year the customs are back as a handful of Nike Air Max 180s with a very memorable inspiration, the Fukijama Nike Air Force 1 from HBO’s Entourage.
Paying homage to the Orchard St. custom Nike Dunk release from several years ago, the Sneaks Up crew has decided to have its very own custom Dunk release to build momentum for the Sneaks Up 4 event scheduled for Sunday, April 25th in San Antonio. No need to climb trees or telephone poles for this release; the appropriately titled “Dunk Hunt” will have local San Antonians on a city wide scramble for the 6 custom pairs. The 1st pair to be given away will be on Wednesday, April 21 live on air during the local Fox News Morning show.
