Art Kicks: Where The Wild Things Are Custom Vans Slip Ons

I’m making a prediction for the latter part of 2009 and early 2010 in the custom sneaker world. One of the most created customs will be based off the children’s book that will be making its way to the silver screen in a few weeks, Where The Wild Things Are. Evan Schultz of Art Kicks is ahead of the game creating a very accurate rendition of the story’s imagery on a pair of Vans slip ons using a different medium, markers, than the original art work was created with by Maurice Sendak. These loafers are one of a kind and are Vans, so you know they will be comfy!

Evan Schultz Art Kicks: Passion Flowers

One of the worlds most artistic natural occurrences is botanical life, specifically flowers. Some of the patterns, fades, shading and colors can simply not be recreated by the human mind, eye, and hand. Taking on the theme of a flower is a hefty task. Evan Schultz of Art Kicks gave that task ago recently on a pair of Vans Slip Ons with the end result full of success.
