Not much on Earth brings people together the way sports does. While many times sport can also cause division it was no doubt a time of togetherness when the sports world lost ESPN sportscaster Stuart Scott on January 4th 2015. In memory of a man who changed the way we consume sports highlights Dank Customs and Danny Green came together for this custom Nike Zoom Soldier VIII.
San Antonio Spur Danny Green looked to honor his fellow University of North Carolina alumn in at least one game with a pair of custom sneakers. After already working with Jake Danklefs of Dank Customs last year Green’s choice of customizer was an easy answer. The base shoe was the mostly black and white accented Nike Zoom Soldier VIII. After painting a bit more silver to the upper the focus was made towards the heels. Across the back heels “STU” and his catchphrase “BOOYAH” were applied in black with a UNC Tar Heel blue outer glow. A last addition of DG and 14 on the tongues complete the player exclusive 1 of 1 custom.
