Just as the official “Paranorman” themed Nike Air Foamposites given away last month via Twitter are being delivered to their prize winners, Robee of Expression Airbrush has finished recreating the design on the foam’s more expensive cousin the Nike Zoom Rookies. This design though offers a couple details that set customizing apart from even a limited giveaway released sneaker.
The foamposite material upper was painted black and airbrushed with the same type of neon green smoke motif from the toes to the heels with a hidden P and N on the medial sides. The signature black pods of the Zoom Rookies were given a green on black styling with the front holes painted and the back pairs redesigned with an embossed silhouettes of “Norman” and the monster hand from the Paranorman movie font. Logo details were also painted green with the back heel tabs imprinted with “weird” and “wear.” Now that could satisfy many but Robee hand sculpted two creepy hands to sit on the laces and act as if the monster was trying to escape from the sneakers tongues. Oh the green all glows too, but you could have guessed that from the first look. Out of the norm for sure.
