If any sneakers are worthy of an award show’s red carpet the Lebron line is surely one based on the retail prices alone. In 2009 the Lebron 7 had a colorway nicknamed “Red Carpet” supposedly inspired by Lebron’s after-game lifestyle. That shoe only had a bit of red on the tongue logo and red laces on a mostly black, white and turquoise colorway. As a customer request Laptop Lasane was asked to reverse that colorway using the red/white NFW Lebron 7.
After prepping the leather as seen in this pairs #CKIP teaser the flip was started on the upper being given a covering of red paint. Next the previously white woven material was painted using the same turquoise as the Red Carpet Lebron 7. Final detailing of black was added in painting the Swooshes, ankle panels, tongue tags, and adding black laces. This pair shows a strict change of the colorway type custom can still let you have a sneaker all its own.
