Nike Air Max 1 “Skunk” by Dank Customs

Taking his influence from 2010’s limited release Nike Dunk “Skunk” originally designed by skateboard artist Todd Bratrud, Jake of Dank Customs continues to conquer the customization of Air Maxes. The all suede high top Dunks’ look was replicated nearly to a tee on this Air Max 1 retro starting with changing the black midsole to a mirroring green. Next the two tones of green suede were painted onto the upper along with a purple set of Swooshes. Details of the Dunks frayed white suede was mimicked with a white speckle along with a complete painting of the orange contrast stitching. Last details of a matching tongue tag and SB laces finish this 1 of 1 custom complete with a custom box.

Made in mens US size 10 they are being auctioned via eBay in a one day auction here: Nike Air Max 1 “Skunk” by Dank Customs. You can check more work from Dank Customs at www.jwdanklefs.com and follow him on Instagram: @jwdanklefs
