On Air Max Day 2014 SBTG was invited by Nike in Shanghai to flex his customizing muscle after some time away from sneakers on the Air Max 1. Now a few months later one of the true legends of sneaker customizing expands on that Air Max Day theme on some more AM1’s in other color combinations. The custom addition’s placement is generally the same upon three recently released AM1 Essentials in red, black, and navy.
Before each was the same color on the upper as you see but with off white midsoles and Swooshes. Not swaying far from what he is known for each pair received a different hand painted camouflage rendition we’ve seen on many a SBTG works. As well a fourth pair in the OG red/white/gray was graced with some desert storm-esq camo. Last details of a metallic gold SBTG and the customers initials top them off on the toe and heels respectively.
