Something we will likely never see in the sneaker world is a collaborative effort amongst gigantic corporations. Heck…even in sneaker customization this isn’t an idea we see even once or twice a year. Customizer 7zulu teamed up with the Indonesia Sneaker Team to offer a pack of customs that extends across the big three brands. But the three brands really provide for nothing more than the vehicle of awareness in this charitable project.
Titled Margasatwa, the three designs are each inspired by an endangered animal in a different region of Indonesia whose own unique characteristics are an important part of the countries ecosystem. The East is the Sumatran Tiger, central region the Komodo Dragon and West the Cendrawasih bird. The shoes designs themselves each feature a similar brown based colorway with small hand painted details of their respective animal, the 7zulu and IST logos, and a set of custom metal lace dubraes.
