A few years ago some clever customizer took Jordan customs to another level by painting detailed outfits and characters upon the embroidered Jumpman logos you’ll find on retro models like the I, III, IV, V, VI, and VII. While many have been good, A LOT seem a bit rushed and sloppy. We have a guess who started the trend but that no longer matters as this work by Future Kicks is the best we’ve ever seen that’s been done.
Giving the Air Jordan VII a new take on a Chicago color scheme the upper and midsoles were blacked out from it’s previous white and gray upper as the “Hare” colorway. A bit of white was put on the midsole shapes, in a subtle nod to 23 on the edges of the lateral side panels, and in the initials for Greatest Of All Time. Then comes the G.O.A.T Jumpman logo customization.
Upon the Jumpman logo FutureKicks painted the iconic original Jumpman poster image. MJ decked out in his Nike warmup, original Chicago red, white and black 1s, with the ball in hand mid flight against the Chicago skyline sunset. The only thing better would be an entire series of each Jordan with an embroidered Jumpman featuring this artwork.
