James Harden Wore Customized adidas Sneakers For The All Star Game

James Harden kept up his season’s double-double pace during the 2017 NBA All Star game. Harden has been the league leader in double-doubles at 45 so far this season, finishing the midseason celebration with 12 points and 12 assists. Harden broke out the latest colorway of his namesake signature sneaker, the adidas Harden Vol. 1 in the “No Breaks” colorway in two iterations. For the first half of play Harden wore a pair customized by artist Eddie Perrote during the adidas Hoops Collective exhibit.

Perrote painted the gray, purple and orange shoes with extra details in black and orange. Across the upper abstract basketballs stuck out against details of Harden’s jersey #13, Fear the Beard, a profile silhouette of Harden, and other hand painted details. For the second half Harden put on a new pair without any of the customized details as you can see below.
