Dez Customz takes the Space Jam 11 to new galactical heights. There is probably some bias from our perspective, but there are just a lot of sneaker customizations that would be instant sell outs if the big footwear brands released them. But sometimes you can just only get the color and vibrancy of designs by hand painting. Can you imagine the hype beyond a galaxy print Air Jordan XI? Since the Galaxy Nike Foamposite released in 2012 the space look has had a stronghold in the world of custom sneakers. But with that quantity, of course, comes the lack of quality. Many galaxy painted custom shoes really end up just looking like blobs of purple and blue with white paint poorly splattered on them. Yet people still continued bought the lackluster work otherwise they wouldn’t have shown up over and over again on our Instagram feed. That is not the case on these Air Jordan XI.
As one groomsman’s gift to his best man, the galaxy print makes Space Jam have a more literal meaning. The black and white colorway of this Air Jordan nicknamed for it’s appearance on Michael Jordan’s feet in the movie released last year in the same form of the movie samples. Taking it another level Dez Customz meticulously painted the black patent leather with a deep space print with shades of blue, purple and stars of white. Extra details of Best Man and a wedding date make for a very special pair to the two friends. While the galaxy print has been done over and over, it doesn’t get old if it’s done right like this.
