Customs In Game: Kentucky Wildcats Willie Cauley-Stein Air Jordan XI

When you are the most prominent player on the nation’s most talked about NCAA men’s basketball team it only makes sense to celebrate the beginning of a tournament run in a pair of custom sneakers. In college basketball the term PE, player exclusive, doesn’t really reach it’s way to individual players as it does in the NBA. Since the college PE is more of a team exclusive it is up to the players themselves to get their shoes to stand out.

Last night for their opening NCAA Round 1 game the Kentucky Wildcats’ Willie Cauley-Stein broke out a pair of Air Jordan XI’s customized by True Blue Customs. The pair of AJ XI had it’s Legend Blue details colored a darker UK Wildcat blue with dyed soles, and a painted Jumpman logo and tongue branding. While that was certainly enough to match the white based uniforms TruBlue Customs and Cauley-Stein didn’t stop there giving the white patent leather mudguard a metallic gold finish.
