Craig Sager Air Jordan 1 Custom by FBCC_BayArea

After creating a Craig Sager themed customized Under Armour Steph Curry sneaker earlier this year, FBCC jumped on the theme again after not being impressed by Nike’s and Air Jordan’s later released Sager themed designs. In August an Air Jordan surfaced, that as far as we know, is a single pair of Jordan 1s with a mix of Tartan Plaid, Shephard’s Check, Houndstooth, and other striped fabric. Nike in collaboration with Bleacher Report and The SagerStrong Foundation auctioned off 100 pairs of a Bespoke NikeID AF1 with some bright colors and a paisley print. Both decent designs inspired by the sideline reporter’s extravagant apparel. In his effort, FBCC tried to tell a bit more of a story.

Using the Air Jordan 1 with clear soles as his base Devlin of FBCC created two different looks to show through the translucent soles. One with Sager Strong and the other with a print to look like the jacket Sager wore while he received the Jim Valvano Award at the 2016 ESPYS. Next, a cheetah print was used on the toes to represent the Nike KD7 Sager also wore that night. Next, the WTF type design was reconstructed with at least 13 other fabrics to represent the hundreds, maybe thousands, of suit and tie combinations Craig Sager has worn over his career.

This Craig Sager design is for certain a 1 of 1 creation, but you can check out more work from Devlin of FBCC on Instagram.com/fbcc_bayarea
