Chicago Cubs World Series Air Jordan by DeJesus Custom Footwear

You know the story by now. 2016, the Chicago Cubs win their first World Series since 1908 breaking the 109 year streak. That record of the longest drought in World Series history has a long way to go. The next team is who the Cubs actually beat in that of the Cleveland Indians at 68 years. As with every World Series win the local economy is boosted by that of new celebratory merchandise. This pair of Air Jordans were created by the local Chicago team at DeJesus Custom Footwear. So these are Chi-Town connected all around.

The ever popular Air Jordan XI columbia colorway was transformed starting at the soles given a bright red dye. Next the white patent was left clean as the rest of the leather upper and mesh tongues were painted blue with various speckles, Chicago stars, subtle elephant print and stone patterns. That work set as a backdrop for various Cubs logos on the heels and tongues. Last touches of gold to the Jumpman logos match the gold of the painted Commissioner’s Trophy on the heel.

A detailed pair like this is surely a 1 of 1 design. But you can inquire about your own Cubs World Series customization from DeJesus here Instagram.com/DeJesusCustomFootwear
