Chad Johnson, aka Ocho Cinco is an OG when it comes to custom sneakers. Wait let’s be more specific, custom cleats. Johnson first wore a pair of custom painted cleats for a game in 2006 before custom cleat guys of today like Odell Beckam or Antonio Brown were even sure they’d make the NFL someday. While taking part in an adidas event this week in Los Angeles, Johnson received a gift courtesy of adidas by the way of Kickasso.
The gift was a matching set of adidas Ultra Boost customs. The hype football cleats and running shoes of the moment were created with an obvious detail of Ocho Cincos football play past. The previously all white footwear were painted an orange and black striped motif reminiscent of Johnson’s NFL playing days for the Cincinnati Bengals. As popular as animal prints always seem to be, a pair like this could really be a way to continue the popularity of the Ultra Boost line.Until further notice though, this set will be a 1 of 1 design for Chad Johnson.
