With a fourth of the NFL season complete the storylines are already brewing making every Sunday still a must watch. Over here at PaintOrThread the main area of concern are what players are wearing customized cleats on the field. The Indianapolis Colts’ cornerback Greg Toler already has a couple games under his belt wearing a pair of Mache Customs. His first pair is a Nike Huarache with a nod to his high school and college football roots at Northwestern High School and St. Paul’s College across the straps.
This past Sunday the NFL’s Breast Cancer Awareness campaign was in full bloom with pink in the way of cleats, towels, wristbands, and even the referee’s usually yellow penalty flags. A lot of cleats were factory releases but Toler’s were a pair of Nike Huaraches in pink, silver and Colts blue. Expect to see these on his feet the rest of October as Indianapolis pulled out the win over Seattle.
