As the 2014 FIFA World Cup is now in full swing, customizer Benji Blunt prepared this tribute customization a few weeks prior to the start of the games. Using a vintage Puma football boot at first glance the theme is probably an easy guess. They were made to celebrate the world’s sport and host nation of the games: Brasil. With an obvious color palette of green, yellow and blue at his disposal Blunt paid honor to the legendary Pelé hand painting him against his Brasilian flag. Instead of just a solid color for the rest of the upper a pattern to mimic the feathers of an Amazonian bird of paradise graces both sides. The bright yellow Puma stripe is accented by Blunt’s logo on the back heel tab.
