Playing off of the “Duck Camo” Nike Air Max 90 released in 2013, Australian customizer Sekure D paints up a version under the premise it was a Bape X Nike collaboration. Sticking with essentially the same color blocking of camo, black and iconic AM90 infrared the result is a very similar finish to the Atmos released inspiration. While the look is the same the details on this give the idea a bit more character as the Bape camo appears throughout the upper in a much more vibrant finish. As well the infrared makes a bigger statement on the heel and in the cleanly executed Bape silhouette logos in place of the usual Nike Air Max rubber tabs. This pair started out mostly white with Sekure not only painting the camo but also dying the tongues, painting the plastic lace tabs, and dye the liners black.
With the “Duck Camo” AM90 reaching rather insane levels on the resell scene can you imagine if this pair officially released? Bape fans can only hope, unless you are a size 9 or can convince Sekure to recreate this design.
