Among the reconstruction/overlay categories it sure is year of the snake for sneaker customizing. South Korea based customizer Snap High created a premium version of probably the most recreated customization of 2013: the blacking out of the Air Jordan XI midsole. But along with what is trending Snap High went premium adding python skin for another variation on MJ’s eleventh model. The work started off by painting the tongue Jumpman embroidery black and the heel tab 23 red. The second step was painting the previously white midsoles black with a dull finish. Next the python paneling was cut and bonded to the patent and sewn on for reinforcement. Lastly to stick a bit closer to the patent leathers shine a gloss was added to the python.
