If 2013 had a breakout base of the year award to give out that would most definitely be the Air Jordan XI. Maybe you can thank Jordan Brand’s mass production of the black and red XI last December and subsequent low top release in 2013. Well you can thank JB as the XI has been at many a customizers disposal thanks to customers fiending to stand out from those with the same shoes.
With a lot of colorways being rehashed, cough Red Yeezy cough, upon the XI this year PKZuniga received a simple customer request that just happens to be representative of the current #1 NCAA men’s basketball team the Arizona Wildcats. Starting with the red/white XI low the patent leather is transformed to that of a different finish in flat navy matte that also flows down to the previously white midsoles. Already in place were the red soles with the last additions being that of the schools logo patches on the tongues.
