Known as the best selling import beer in the US, Corona has built a international brand of Mexican beer. Now say what if that best selling cerveza recognizable for their beach scene advertisements teamed up with Jordan Brand? That’s probably a far fetched collaboration but Evan of Revive Customs gives us a look at what that design could be with this pair of Air Jordan V retro “Corona” customs.
To start the “Independence Day” Air Jordan V’s red detailing on the midsole, #23 and Jordan logos were hand painted a golden maize. Next the navy Corona logo was painted across the upper lace panel with the brands crown and griffon logos in maize on the ankle and heel panels. Navy was added to the medial panels to break up the shoes mostly white upper. Finally actual bottle caps were used as shoe lace dubrets to complete the design.
