Air Jordan V 1990 Vanilla Ice Custom by @FreakerSneaks

For the latest crop of Air Jordan fans this customs reference will probably go right over their heads. FreakerSneaks brings together two pop culture items of 23 years ago in this custom titled Class of 1990 Air Jordan V “ICE” Edition. The base shoe of the white/fire red Air Jordan V retro has been given a Vanilla Ice remix inspired by the neon cover of arguably THE single of all 90’s singles Ice Ice Baby.

FreakerSneakers started by painting the previously white upper entirely neon pink with high gloss on the toe cap and matte finish on back. Next came the blackout of the tongue’s and sock’s red liners along with the plastic eyelets and clear netting on the side panel and tongues. The next neon added was that of green starting with Vanilla Ice on the toes, laces, the midsole sharkteeth, and the tongues Jumpman logos. A final addition of the ICE logo was painted on the back heels.
