If you follow Australian sneaker customizer Sekure D you know about his affinity for Sin City. He has a vast portfolio of customs based on the theme. Back in August his Sinner Air Jordan III was one of the “Likes” of my fellow PaintOrThread Podcast host Mike Miscannon (checkout that Episode of the Custom Sneaker Chronicles). That pair also stuck out to the Dallas Mavericks center Bernard James and after a few chats the two agreed to flip the look upon the next numbered Air Jordan in line after the IIIs.
For the most part the hand painted patterns are all the same on this base that began as the mostly white leather fire red colorway. Sekure’s grafitti pattern makes up the most intricate detail upon the upper with all four colors of red, white, black and gray. Once again his speckle fade pattern graces the mudguard. Upon the back ankles and heels that recognizable Frank Miller white on black rain drop pattern was painted with an obvious Sin City logo on the tongue to deter any questions of what their theme may be.
