Air Jordan III Atmos Custom by PKZuniga and Gordo_1

More often than not these days custom sneakers seem to be a contest to fit the most detail, colors, or patterns on one pair of shoes. Even when it comes to colorswaps, the colorways being swapped are likely full of something from galazy, excuse me I mean galaxy to red October. Or every once in a while someone notices a nice color blocking that hasn’t made it’s way to a certain model. PkZuniga and Gordo_1 are responsible for noticing this opportunity on the Air Jordan III.

The colorswap here is from the Air Max 1 Atmos that released in 2007. It has been seen transplanted to the AF1, other Air Max, and possibly a Lebron but this Air Jordan III may be better than the original AM1. The Air Jordan III started as the retro of the 88 OG white/cement pair whose all white upper was painted all black except for the mudguard panels. Second the elephant print was kept as is with a bit added to the heel to mimic the AM1’s placement of the iconic pattern. For the third step the black heel panel on the midsole was painted white. Next all that was left was a bit of turquoise that made its way to the plastic eyelets, Jumpman logo on the tongues and on the back heel tabs Nike Air logo.

As of now these are a 1 of 1 but you can follow both customizers on Instagram here: @PKZuniga & @Gordo_1
