Air Jordan I Levi’s Vintage Acid Wash Denim Customs | @theMenacedesign

Off the sneaker customization radar since about late 2010 theMenace is back with all new recon custom sneakers. You may remember his work that made some noise as full reconstructions of the Vans Sk8 Hi. Well some of the materials he used are the same but base model different being that of the Air Jordan I. TheMenace gave the iconic AJ 1 silhouette a look of what was probably worn with them originally quite often in those mid 1980s: acid wash denim. Two versions feature a full upper of vintage Levi’s denim with acid wash all the way from the toes, to the tongue, and back heels. Each edge is slightly frayed and the blue pair features gold contrast stitching while the black pair is kept together with black. The original Air Jordan 1 retro tongue tags were kept on the tongues for last details.

theMenace is offering these in each colorway for a limited amount of 3 pairs each. You can order them HERE. Be sure to follow his work on Instagram: @IamtheMenace
