Where would sneakers be without the inclusion of Kanye West to the scene? While his influence is still really only amongst “sneakerheads” and fans of his music the impact of colorways and shoes that have his name associated to them only seem to be more and more desirable. The latest release of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 is only fuel on the flames of the fire that are Yeezy sneakers.
In this custom by HippieNeal the simple casual runner’s signature spotted knit pattern is overcome by a completely cool gray finish. Next the white soles and midsoles were painted a vibrant shade of pink. To most this colorway would probably be a pass but it gains it’s moxie as it originated on Kanye’s collaboration with high fashion brand Louie Vuitton upon the Jasper model that was released in 2009 pictured below.
Do you think that Kanye should go back to his portfolio of color schemes from previous sneakers and release an idea such as this or just stick to all new everything and let the custom sneaker scene make these happen?
