Adidas Crazy 8 for Jimmy Butler of the Chicago Bulls by JP Custom Kicks

The whole Customs In Game trend is getting closer to being more than a trend. MLB, NFL, NBA are all wearing customized sneakers when chances are they could get most anything they want from the major brands in player exclusive form. On opening night against the Miami Heat the Chicago Bulls’ Jimmy Butler put an all red pair of Adidas Crazy 8 by JP Customs Kicks on the hardwood. Titled “Crazy 2-8-1s” after Butler’s Twitter handle paying homage to his home town area code in Tomball, Texas. The last few months the all red everything has been the “it” idea in customs thanks to stuff like the Red October Yeezy II and the Legends of Summer Air Jordan line. But just know the Bulls main color being red justifies seeing at least one more all red custom.

These are a partial reconstructed custom that started out a combination of red, white, and black. JP changed them up with more than just red paint by adding authentic python and stingray skins across the upper. Next the white midsoles were painted red for the monochrome look. A last touch of a logo patch on the back heels finished off the project with the help of Herb Juice.
