C2 Customs closed last year in with a pair of sneakers that weren’t too far off from the pair he started the year with. C2 kicked off 2014 with a colorswap customization from the Adidas ZX5000 collaboration with Bape and Undefeated. Taking the Bape camo with red, white and blue accents to Adi’s newest tech on the Energy BOOST. This pair goes the opposite direction in terms of technology but years forward in heritage. The now casual Stan Smith’s become Bape Sta(n) Smiths.
The entire upper was hand painted with the streetwear iconic Bathing Ape camo. As the Smith’s don’t have 3 stripe panels the red, white, and blue was instead transformed to the tongues in what appears to be perfectly executed line work.
