adamfu Brings Neon Drip Graffiti to the Air Jordan I

Glowing neon paint drips make their way to the Air Jordan 1 thanks to adamfu.

Seeing sneakers used as a canvas by artists is at an all-time high. Hopefully, it never slows down and only becomes more legitimate as days go by. Wearable art > art that hangs on your wall. One of the more eye-popping recent artistic takes upon a sneaker is this paint drip style by graffiti artist adamfu.

Adam Kiyoshi Fujita’s Instagram account shows countless photos of painted walls and lettering with a neon dayglow effect looking like cold cathode gas-discharge light. Instagrammer @slaveivshoes commissioned Fujita to bring his style to these AJ1s bridging cultures of graf and sneakers. The end result was two classic Air Jordan I colorways oozing Fujita’s signature glowing drips.

While this looks to be one of Fujita’s first times sharing work on a sneaker we can expect more to come for how well they turned out. Check out more from him on Instagram.com/adamfu.
