After Nike’s release of the infrared and blue speckle with a bit of black Miami Night Lebron 8 the colorway became a favorite among shoe customizers customers. To flip the concept Chef of Gourmet Kickz thought about a reflection on the colorway for this Nike Lebron 9 titled Remember The Night?
The idea was to create a colorway and look that would embody the morning after a crazy Miami Night. Here are Chef’s own words on how the Miami Dolphins matching colorway came about:
“Assuming there would be lots of partying and alcohol consumed, I sought to make this pair represent that hazy feeling of breaking daylight. Hence the name “Remember the Night?”. The colors are muted tones meant to relate to sunrise and the color of the sky at dawn. The colorway is also loosely based on a Mimosa (Champagne and OJ), something one might drink to calm a hangover. This is a colorful piece without being loud, muted tones with pops of bright orange and white give it life.” – Chef of Gourmet Kickz
