The Nike SB low Freddy Krueger was a highly anticipated Nike SB took a while to see the official release light of day. That release only saw a low top version so for someone that would rather have a high top Dunk the best option is too reach out to skilled customizers such as Eric Lowery aka El Cappy. For this customer request El Cappy was asked to recreate the aforementioned Nightmare on Elm Street scary guy inspired Dunks.
Overall the design is spot on to released version. The red and green stripes used to represent Freddy’s sweater were the hardest part of this custom according to El Cappy. The upper toe, lace, and ankle panels were painted a sandy tan and sprayed with realistic splatters of blood. Next the sharp metal claw of Freddy was represented by four metallic silver swooshes. Lastly the insoles were painted like burnt skin of Freddy’s face. How do these stack up against other blood covered custom sneakers?
