Oh man, brace yourself this is pretty much going to be by far the most expensive base shoe to ever be customized, the Nike Air Mag. One of the most significant sneaker releases of all time is about to get customized by Dan Gamache of Mache Customs. Just about a year ago Nike released these on a very limited basis via in person auctions and eBay to help raise money for Parkinson’s disease research by the Michael J. Fox Foundation. One pair sold for $37,000. Yes, $37G’s. Not many customizers could handle that pressure.
What more could be added to this Back to the Future shoe? They’ve all ready got lights, clear soles, straps, and an extremely high cut. You can see some air brushing could be in store seeing how the soles and back panels are covered in masking tape. Your guess is as good as ours.
